Originally Electrolux Laundry Services New Zealand, we are proud to introduce our new trading name: Econic Laundry Solutions. This update marks an exciting new chapter in our 25-year journey as a privately owned, second-generation New Zealand business.

Our new name reflects a continued commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, while proudly honouring the heritage we share with Electrolux Professional. As Econic Laundry Solutions, we are sharpening our focus on delivering economic, iconic, and industry-leading commercial laundry solutions. Our ECO-centric philosophy guides every decision, and our 360-degree approach to laundry sets us apart as the partner of choice for customers seeking long-term, future-ready solutions.

While our name and visual identity have evolved, our core values remain unchanged. We continue to provide durable, reliable, and high-performance laundry systems, backed by the same service-first philosophy that has earned the trust of customers across New Zealand. With many of our machines designed to last up to 30,000 cycles—the equivalent of 8 cycles a day for 10 years—our emphasis on lifecycle support and long-term value is central to our offering.

Founded in Sweden in 1902, Electrolux Professional is a global leader in both on-premise laundries and laundromats. As our top-selling brand by volume and revenue, Electrolux Professional has been a cornerstone of our offering since day one. A pioneer in innovation — launching the first professional heat pump dryer in 1984 and introducing wet cleaning technology in 1992 — Electrolux continues to shape the future of laundry. Their comprehensive range spans from 8 to 110 kg capacity, delivering scalable, sustainable, and future-focused solutions for diverse industry needs.

Milnor

Based in Louisiana, USA, Milnor has been the global benchmark in continuous batch washing (CBW) systems for over 70 years. From its origins as a family business, Milnor has built a legacy of durable, efficient, and technically advanced laundry equipment, trusted in some of the world’s most demanding central laundry environments. Every machine is meticulously assembled and personally signed off by a Milnor employee — a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Laco Machinery

Founded by the Lapauw family, Laco has revolutionised the flatwork ironing sector with its innovative chest-heated ironers and flexible chest design — a game-changing advancement in laundry finishing. Renowned for quality and precision engineering, Laco continues to lead the market through constant innovation. ELS NZ has proudly partnered with Laco for over a decade, bringing their high-performance ironers to commercial laundries across New Zealand.

From design to manufacture, Foltex machines are making an impact worldwide for their simplicity and reliability. The quality of manufacture is first class, and the design is cutting edge.
